Jason Robertson is also a translator and author. For the last two years, Mr. Robertson has hosted and translated for visiting acupuncturists at the Cui Yue Li Institute in Beijing. He has completed a translation of his studies in Beijing on the subject of classical Chinese physiology which will be published later this year.

As the brief introduction above indicates, Mr. Robertson benefits from years studying Chinese language and culture to improve his practice of Chinese medicine.  He believes that a complete understanding of this complex medical system must begin with an understanding of the culture from which it comes.  Only after first understanding Chinese medicine on its own terms can the important process of effectively adapting the practice to our modern society succeed.

In his Seattle practice, Mr. Robertson integrates the Chinese understanding of how lifestyle and emotional health relates to the treatment of disease.  In the clinic, the entire patient is considered when treating even the simplest complaint.  Upon your first visit to the Oriental Medical Center, your health history will be reviewed. Jason will then explain how your condition is understood by Chinese medicine.

An individualized treatment program will be designed for you that works with the therapies you may already be using.  In the modern clinic, Chinese medicine is no longer an “alternative” therapy but instead an “integrative” therapy that strives to work with your doctor, naturopath or chiropractor to bring your body to optimum health.

Mr. Robertson believes strongly that the goal of all therapy should be to have the patient no longer need treatment.  A healthy patient is a happy patient!

Mr. Robertson is at the Oriental Medical center on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.   To make an appointment, please call (206) 920-5205 or e-mail kentuckyginseng@yahoo.com
