Chinese Facial Therapy uses ancient Chinese theory in combination with modern facial techniques to provide our patients with an effective way to look and feel healthier and more youthful.

  Here at the Oriental Medical Center, we use facial and body acupuncture that is
founded in traditional Chinese medical theory to help balance the inside of your body to promote health, while also attending to the outside of the body by treating your face to refreshing facial acupuncture and massage. Chinese Facial Therapy is able to delay signs of aging, relieve tension and stress, brighten the skin and eyes, improve muscle tone, reduce wrinkles and bags around the eyes, as well as promote overall health and well being.
 
   

During an appointment for Chinese Facial Therapy, you will meet with a licensed acupuncturist who is trained in the specialization of facial rejuvenation acupuncture. The doctor will interview you to determine your needs, as well as a Chinese medical diagnosis, to ensure that you are given a holistic treatment. Your treatment will begin with an acupuncture treatment, where the concentration of hair-fine needles will be on the face, ears, and scalp. When the needles are removed, a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist will provide a gentle facial massage using top quality essential oils to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood. At the conclusion of the visit, Chinese herbs may be suggested as well as dietary suggestions, in order to promote internal balance and overall health.

There are many other acupuncture techniques than what we listed above. Each will be performed as needed to treat the individual patient's condition.
